Beadnell Ward’s Christmas party

In December SHINE provided funding for Beadnell ward annual Christmas party. Service users, their family and friends had a great time joining with Christmas festivities!

The afternoon was filled with lots of music, games and laughs including a buffet lunch which was put together by staff on the ward.

The event even had a special visit from Santa in their very own Santas grotto! Each child and baby got a gift from Santa, and everyone left with a huge smile on their face!

The team said “the children absolutely loved it and it was lovely to see the magic that Christmas brings.”

Staff organised stalls and games such as guess the name of the gingerbread man and how many sweets in the jar. This raised over £80 which will go back into the wards charitable funds to use towards more patient activities in the future.
