Primary Care Mental Health Team – North Tyneside (CNTW275)
Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust employ a range of mental health workers into Primary Care settings to provide mental health advice, support, consultation and liaison across the wider local health system.
They facilitate onward access to mental and physical health wellbeing and psychosocial interventions. They provide brief psychological interventions whilst working closely with the Primary Care Network multi-disciplinary care team offering training and education of GP practice staff and strategic work in the practice around mental health pathways.
The teams are based in a number of GP surgeries across North Tyneside.
