We also support people at home and in the community, working with a range of partners.
We support people in seven local areas:
- North Cumbria
- Northumberland
- Newcastle
- North Tyneside
- Gateshead
- South Tyneside
- Sunderland
We also provide some specialist services nationally.
The Trust’s structure is based on three operational Care Groups. These are:
- Community Care Group
- Inpatient Care Group
- Specialist Care Group
Community Care Group
We have one Community Care Group that looks after community and access services across the seven local areas above. These areas, called ‘places,’ usually match local authority boundaries or where people go for hospital care. This helps us work better with local partners to provide more joined-up care for people in their own communities.
Working this way improves and modernises community services in each area, in line with our Model of Care and Support.
Inpatient Care Group
The Inpatient Care Group covers our inpatient services. It brings inpatient care in line with the wider health system and helps create a more consistent, person-centred, and recovery-focused approach, as described in our Model of Care and Support.
Specialist Care Group
The Specialist Care Group includes specialist services across the Trust and any partnership collaborative services.
