Who are we?
We are a team of trained people.
We work in Northumberland.
We help adults with their mental health and wellbeing.
What do we do?
We work with adults who have a learning disability.
We also work with their families and carers.
We listen. We talk. We give advice.
We help you deal with lots of different feelings and problems.
If you cannot sort a problem on your own, we can help.
We can also help with challenging behaviour. We use Positive Behavioural Support to do this.

Where do we see you?
We can see you at:
- home
- college or work
- GP surgery
You can pick the place that works best for you.
We can see you on your own
We can also see you with your family or in a group
We also work with staff, carers and others.
What happens when you see us?
We work in different ways. We might:
- talk
- draw pictures
- write things down
We will meet with you first. Together we will decide what to do.
We try to do this as soon as we can.
You can phone us before we see you.
We will talk to you about what will happen when we meet you.
