NEESAMA brings together partners in Bangladesh, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the UK to focus on improving research, education and clinical service delivery within mental health services, by fostering collaboration between policy makers, researchers and clinicians from across South Asia and North East England. The North Northumberland Adult Community Treatment team provides an assessment and treatment service for people who are experiencing difficulty with their mental health. The team is made up of a number of health care professionals. Appointments with the team are arranged at a number of different sites across your area. If this is inconvenient to you then appointments may also be arranged within your own home.

Information about the Initial Response Team provides 24 hour access to mental health care, advice, support and treatment. This service is for anyone who lives in Northumberland and North Tyneside who feels they need urgent mental health care or have an enquiry about their routine care.
