Samaritans

Whatever you’re going through, call them free any time, from any phone on 116 123. They are there round the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you need a response immediately, it’s best to call us on the phone. This number is FREE to call. You don’t have to be suicidal to call us.

Sometimes it can feel difficult to pick up the telephone. Sometimes writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you better understand them. Their volunteers answer approximately 600 emails a day that come through to [email protected]. We aim to respond to your email within 24 hours. How quickly we respond depends on how many volunteers we have working at that time.
