We’re here to help you stay independent and connected
Our Independent Travel Advice Service offers a personalised signposting service for older and disabled people. We aim to reduce isolation and loneliness by helping you find practical travel solutions when driving is no longer an option.
We provide tailored advice on using public transport and alternative travel options, including buses, trains, community transport, ferries, and even air travel. Whether you live in the North East or Cumbria, or need to travel across England, we’ll help you understand what’s available.
If you’re feeling isolated, we can also connect you with local services that offer support and companionship. Our goal is simple: to help you stay mobile, independent, and engaged in your community.
