Children’s Learning Disability and Autism Teams
We provide specialist assessment and treatment to people with learning disabilities and or autism and additional health needs which cannot be met through mainstream services.
The teams are staffed by a range of specialist learning disability and autism health professionals including Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nurse Liaison and Health Care Support Workers. All the staff in our services have training and experience of working with individuals and their families, carers and supporters.
We have community teams and specialist inpatient services which offer a range of specialist interventions in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), autism, mental health and physical health.
