What is the Regional Disability Team?
The Regional Disability Team (RDT), based at Walkergate Park in Newcastle, is a specialised, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for people with long term, complex, neurological conditions.
Who is the service for?
The team offers a range of services for people living in the north east with long term neurological conditions, aged 16 years of age and over.
To access the service you must have a specific goal(s) that we can help with.
We are unable to accept referrals for:
- Stroke
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Motor Neurone Disease
- Functional Neurological Disorder
How can I get referred?
- If you are a GP or health care professional and wish to refer your patient, please use the form below
- Individuals who have been seen by the service in the last six months can self-refer, but please get in touch directly using the contact details at the bottom of the page
