Richard Lee is an Associate Non Executive Director at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. He brings a combination of lived experience, strategic governance insight, and digital innovation expertise to support the Trust’s long term transformation and oversight.
Richard is a technology entrepreneur who founded, scaled, and exited a multi million pound digital business, and now holds a portfolio of Non Executive and advisory roles across health, policing, education, and social justice. He has particular experience in regulated environments, digital transformation, financial governance, and providing constructive challenge at board level.
He was previously an Involvement Advisory Member at CNTW, where he contributed to policy development, digital strategy, and patient experience work. His appointment as Associate Non Executive Director reflects his commitment to strengthening governance, embedding lived experience into strategic decision making, and supporting the Trust’s focus on prevention, access, and community based care.
