Library and Knowledge Services
Our library service is available to all CNTW staff and students. We help access high quality knowledge and information so that care is informed by the best available evidence, at the right time and place.
Each library has a collection of print books searchable via our library catalogue.We have journals, printing and copying facilities, PCs and quiet study spaces. We work with other libraries to help our users access the books and journals they need. Members can borrow up to ten items for four weeks.
Most of our services are accessible to staff via our intranet page. Our electronic journals and e-books are available through our online Discovery Service
The library team can help with:
- copyright
- NHS OpenAthens access
- literature searching
- keeping up to date with latest publications
- use of online health information resources
- knowledge management.
Joining the Library
Become a member of the library to use our services. You can do this via the intranet using our online registration form, or by visiting one of the libraries. Your library card will allow you access to most NHS libraries in the region.
