Castleside is an inpatient unit based at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality in Newcastle upon Tyne. Castleside has 10 beds providing assessment and treatment by a multi disciplinary health and social care team. They will support you with a range of different treatments and therapies. Castleside is for older people with mental health problems arising from organic disorders such as dementia.
How can I get referred?
You can be referred by a Specialist Mental Health service, which you can access through your GP.
