Christmas has arrived early for children and young people in our services.
The young people at Alnwood and Ferndene have been given a surprise gift of board games for Christmas.
The bundle of board games was donated by Staff Benefits, an online company that offer free exclusive discounts to all NHS and government employees.
Ian Twizzel, Clinical Nurse Manager at Ferndene said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Staff Benefits, this is a fantastic gesture and it really will make a difference to the young people that we look after.”
Jackie Mills, Ward Manager on Ashby Ward, Alnwood said: “It is lovely that our young people are remembered at this time of year as everyone is extremely busy. Thank you to Staff Benefits it is a very kind gesture.”
A spokesperson for the company said: “It is our pleasure to give a little something at this time of year, to help make a stay in hospital more enjoyable.”
