Car parking
We have a pay and display car park at Walkergate Park that can be used by patients, visitors and staff.
If you need parking at Walkergate Park, then we advise you park in the hospital grounds. The main road is not suitable to park on and there are not many residential streets immediately by the centre.
Parking charges
Car park charges are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please find details of these charges below:
0 – 60 minutes: £1.00
1 – 2 hours: £1.50
2 – 3 hours: £2.00
3 – 4 hours: £2.50
4+ hours: £8.00
Car park spaces are free outside working hours or weekends, and so will not be subject to the charges. Anyone wanting to visit a patient during working hours and stay longer than 3 – 4 hours will not have to pay the full £8 rate. Their charge will be capped at £2.50 if they ask a member of staff to contact the car parking management team and confirm they are visiting patients.
