Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (North East and North Cumbria) is a joint partnership between Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.
The service delivers forensic consultation, assessment and in some instances specialist intervention and treatment across the area to young people up to the age of 18 years with both forensic mental health and complex non-forensic mental health need.
The team is available to agencies who have contact with young people in the youth justice system or whose behaviour is such that it requires support from a forensic specialist service. The specialist service supports young people up to the age of 18 years with or without a criminal conviction across a range of settings.
