Individual Placement Support (IPS) Employment Service – CNTW274

70-90% of people with mental health issues would like to work but only 7% are in paid employment. We are changing that!

We are the Individual Placement Support (IPS) Service. Our specialists are full-time members of NHS staff, working across the entire Trust area using the evidence-based model of IPS employment support to empower service users to find the employment of their choosing and enjoy the bio-psycho-social benefits that good employment brings. We pride ourselves on a holistic and hopeful approach that provides rapid support and garners praise from service users, carers and clinicians alike.

During the Covid-19 crisis we are able to provide support to any service user. You do not have to be ‘work ready’, only curious about employment options. We do not have a complex referral process as any member of staff can refer to us. Unfortunately we are not able to work with service users who are being discharged from services.

We specialise in:

  • employment opportunities
  • help getting or keeping a job
  • employment rights
  • benefit entitlement

If you are aware of service user interested in any of the above please get in touch with our team of enthusiastic and experienced employment specialists via our email: [email protected] We’ll rapidly get in touch and provide expert advice and support.
