Mitford Bungalows is an autism inpatient service for adults who are on the autism spectrum, who have extremely complex needs and display challenging behaviours.
There are four bungalows, where three service users have a bungalow each and two service users share but have their own living areas within. Each service user is staffed at least 2-1, 24/7. All of the service users have a tailored bespoke treatment pathway that is completely individualised to meet their specific needs. The staff team is highly trained in autism, and has a very good understanding of the complexities of the condition.

The service also provides diversion for individuals who have been inappropriately placed within secure services.
