Posted: 18/01/18

Ken Jarrold CBE has been appointed as Chair of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.  He will take up his position on 1 February 2018.

The Trust is one of the largest NHS organisations of its kind in the UK and provides a range of mental health and disability services in the North East.

The appointment, made by the Trusts Council of Governors, was warmly welcomed by Chief Executive, John Lawlor.

‘I am delighted to welcome Ken to the Trust.  He brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having led a number of NHS organisations across the country during his many years of public service.  Ken’s values and commitment to people who use and work in local services shone through during the interview process.  He will be a fabulous addition to the Trust and the NHS across the North East.
