Our Newcastle and Gateshead Older Adult and Adult services have now moved from the Campus for Ageing and Vitality (CAV) to St Nicholas Hospital in Gosforth.
The final stage of the project is complete and older inpatient wards moved over last week, bringing all the services under one site.
Older adult services and physical treatment are now based at what was Alnwood at St Nicholas Hospital. This includes Castleside, Akenside, Day Hospital, ECT, older adult community and the Memory Assessment and Management Services (MAMS).
Thank you to everyone who has been involved. The move is the result of the hard work and dedication from numerous staff to provide a much-improved environment for patients, staff and visitors.
