AuditOne and NTW have been highly commended at an awards ceremony in London.
The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and PwC presented the 2018 Audit and Risk Awards at PwC’s London HQ on Wednesday 5 December. These annual awards are an opportunity to celebrate outstanding performances by teams and individuals and to highlight innovative solutions to the challenges most audit teams face.
This year AuditOne and NTW entered in the category ‘Best use of Technology’ for a joint venture to rollout an agile working solution at AuditOne using Office 365 technology. The project proved its worth when the ‘Beast from the East’ hit earlier this year as the large number of AuditOne staff who couldn’t get into their offices were still able to continue working from home with full access to all their usual IT systems. Hence AuditOne suffered virtually no loss in productivity over the week.
Despite the tech category being hotly contested by some ‘big hitters’ from the commercial world (Coca-Cola; Vodaphone; Centrica Plc; Lloyds Banking Group) they finished as close runners up to winners Lloyds Banking Group with the project being awarded ‘Highly Commended’.
