Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) has welcomed the latest results from the annual NHS Staff Survey.

The survey, which is undertaken by all NHS Trusts in England, is an important measure of what life is like for NHS staff. The results help us understand how staff feel about working in our organisation, what we’re doing well and what we may need to change or improve.

James Duncan, Chief Executive at CNTW, said: “We’re pleased to see that staff who responded overwhelmingly agreed that patient care is our organisation’s top priority and feel their role makes a difference to patients. Patient care is at the heart of all we do, so that’s really encouraging to see.

“The staff survey is an important measure of how our staff are feeling. We have been reviewing the results and working with teams across the organisation to look at what we can learn and how we can continue to make the Trust a great place to work.”
