Car parking

We have a pay and display car park at St. Nicholas Hospital which can be used by patients, visitors and staff.

There are also a number of Newcastle City Council pay and display parking spaces along Jubilee Road and Regent Avenue.

Parking charges

Hospital car park charges are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please find details of these charges below:

0 – 60 minutes: £1.00
1 – 2 hours: £1.50
2 – 3 hours: £2.00
3 – 4 hours: £2.50
4+ hours: £8.00

Car parking is free outside working hours or weekends, and so will not be subject to the charges. Anyone wanting to visit a patient during working hours and stay longer than 3 – 4 hours will not have to pay the full £8 rate. Their charge will be capped at £2.50 if they ask a member of staff to contact the car park management team and confirm they are visiting patients.
