I qualified in 1992 and have worked since for this hospital trust and the University. I have worked as a consultant psychiatrist on general adult psychiatry wards between 1003 and 2022 and since then as lead clinician with the Regional Affective Disorders Service.

For the University I conduct research into the pathophysiology and treatment of mood disorders.
