Dr Rachael Hall

I completed my medical training at Hull York Medical School and qualified as a doctor in 2008. I did my foundation training in the North East and subsequently went on to complete core and higher training in Psychiatry. I joined the Specialist Register as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Adult Mental Health, with an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry, in 2016.

After becoming a consultant, I worked within acute inpatient services and also spent some time working as part of a crisis service. In June 2023 I moved to CNTW and my current role is split between the  Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service and an adult Community Treatment Team.

In my previous organisation I held a medical management role, which included being Associate Clinical Director in acute services for four years followed by Associate Medical Director in urgent care for a further year. I led the trust wide Acute Care Group.

I am a trainer and have supervised core and higher trainees, foundation trainees, non-medical prescribers and multi-professional approved clinicians.
