I was graduated from Medical school, Menia university, Egypt 2000. Then I did foundation year then core training in Neurology and Psychiatry for 3 years then higher training for 2 years. I had a master degree in psychiatry in 2005. I did a clinical research fellowship for two years at institute of Neurosciences, Newcastle University between 2008 and 2010, this resulted in empowering my research experience, publications and presentations at national and international level.

After that, I did a Psychiatry core training then higher training in child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northern Deanery (NTW and TWEV trusts) between 2012 and 2018. During the training, I managed to pass all my membership exams from the first attempt and I was able to do a postgraduate certificate in medical education at Newcastle University.

I started a consultant job at community CYPS services, Newcastle and Gateshead October 2018 and my role includes leading the team in assessing young children with neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD and ASD) and managing children with ADHD and children with ASD and comorbid mental disorders.

I have an active role in Medical Education including delivering teaching sessions for and examining undergraduate medical school.
