I trained in Medicine in Newcastle and qualified in 2003.

My current role is as Consultant Psychiatrist providing medical and Responsible Clinician input into secure inpatient and community services for offenders with intellectual and developmental disability.

I am also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer within the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University where I have interests in offender health, psychopharmacology, and clinical trials.
