I currently work as a Consultant Psychiatrist within Inpatient Services at St Georges Park. I have been in this role since April 2015. Prior to this, I was based at Hopewood Park, formerly known as Cherry Knowle Hospital working in Urgent Care as a Consultant Psychiatrist from March 2013 – April 2015. From April 2005 to March 2013, I worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the Older Persons Mental Health Team based in South Tyneside. I worked as an Assistant Medical Director for Older Persons Directorate from 2008 to 2010, and a Lead Consultant in Older Persons Service from 2007-2008. My first post was as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Elderly based at Cherry Knowle Hospital where I worked from November 1998 till March 2005. August 94 to November 98 Date of completion of specialist training in General and Old Age Psychiatry: 2nd August 1998. Trainers: Old Age Psychiatry -Dr MJ Campbell General Psychiatry -Dr I Cameron August 90 to 94 Leeds Rotational Training Scheme in Psychiatry. Including SHO and Registrar posts in rehabilitation, liaison, child and learning disablity psychiatry. August 89 to 90 SHO posts in General and Geriatric Medicine. August 88 to 89 PRHO posts in Edinburgh and Gateshead.
