I have trained in Old Age Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry, and also completed training in Public Health Medicine. I have worked in the North East since 1997 and have held a number of posts within the Trust. I have been in a management position for over 10 years, initially as a Lead Consultant and currently a Group Medical Director. I was previously the Director of Infection Prevention and Control, and Emergency Planning and am now Deputy Medical Director for Safety.
