Improving our services for people from marginalised ethnic, faith and cultural backgrounds

People from marginalised ethnic, faith and cultural backgrounds in England often find it more difficult to get support from mental health services. When people from marginalised backgrounds are able to get support from mental health services, they often have worse experiences of care.

We have worked with our local communities to agree a plan for tackling unfair differences in our services linked to ethnicity, faith and culture. We are now putting this plan into action to make sure our services better meet the needs of people from marginalised ethnic, faith and cultural backgrounds.
