Day Services – Gees Club (Northgate Hospital)

Gees Club is a department within Day Services based at Northgate Hospital, Morpeth. The Gees Club provides leisure and social activities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Any service user from the Forensic Learning Disability Services can attend the Gees Club.

Activities include:

Leisure – Day time

  • Sewing – making soft toys, basic dressmaking and patchwork.
  • Latch Hook, clippie/proggy mats – design and make rugs, cushions.
  • Model Making – using materials such as wood, plaster, lolly sticks.

Social – Evenings and Weekends

  • Evenings – bingo, key club, play your cards right, karaoke, disco.
  • Weekend – tea rooms on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Opening Times

Leisure – Day time 9.00am – 11.30pm and 1.00pm – 3.30pm Monday to Friday

Social – Evenings 5.00pm – 7.15pm and Weekends 1.00pm – 7.15pm
