How can I get referred?

All referrals to our working age (18-65 years) adult community treatment teams in Northumberland will be sent to our single point, where referral will be triaged.  A referral template has been developed for inclusion in patient information systems which you can access here.

All referrals using this template should be addressed to our single point of referral address [email protected]

Each referral will be processed via our multidisciplinary referral triage HUB, which is manned daily between 10am and 12 noon with rostered clinical and admin staff from across the county.  Working in conjunction with Consultant Psychiatrists, Pharmacists, Nursing Staff, OTs and administrative personnel, we will aim to provide the quickest possible response to all referral requests, identifying the most appropriate course of action, including assessment, advice, medication queries, signposting and onward referral.
