Are you curious about how the mind works? Thinking about a future career in psychology or mental health? Come join us this July for an exciting two-day Psychology careers event hosted by our Psychological Services team.

This is your chance to explore what it really means to work as a Psychologist or Psychological Therapist in the NHS. You’ll get insider knowledge on the different career paths available, hear directly from professionals in the field, and gain insight into how psychology helps people through tough times and supports recovery.

What to expect:

  • Hear from real psychologists and psychological therapists working in mental health
  • Discover the many routes into a psychology career
  • Learn how mental health challenges develop—and how we support people through them
  • Listen to powerful stories from individuals who’ve used our services
  • Get answers to your questions and connect with like-minded students

This is an in-person event and places are limited, don’t wait to apply! To make the most of the experience, you must be available to attend both days.

Who can apply?
  • Sixth-form or university students aged 16+
  • Interested in a career in psychology or mental health
  • Able to attend on both Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd July

Applications are open until 5th June 2026, but may close earlier if we receive a high number of applicants. Apply soon to secure your spot.

Successful applicants will be notified.

The event is free to attend.
