I completed my undergraduate medical degree in South Africa in 1994.

I completed postgraduate training in psychiatry in South Africa in 2001.

Immigrated to the UK in 2002.

I initially worked in Community Psychiatry, and then the Crisis Team since 2008.

I have completed 6 years of training in psycho-analytic psychotherapy between 2004 and 2009.

I have held a number of operational leadership positions in the organisation since 2009. Latterly including Associate Medical Director for inpatient services and currently Associate medical Director for revalidation.
