Sunderland Psychological Wellbeing Service (Monkwearmouth Hospital) – CNTW086
Delivered in partnership between Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, Sunderland Counselling Service and Washington MIND.
A city wide team providing quick access to assessment and a range of psychological treatment interventions to those people with common mental health problems who have a low to moderate level of need.
Interventions are offered from a range of community venues across Sunderland including Washington MIND, Sunderland Counselling Services, Grange Park Clinic and GP practices.
The team consists of Community Psychiatrist Nurses (CPNs), Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), Counsellors, and Administrative Staff.
How to get Referred
Referrals From GP / Other Professionals:
Written referrals / completed referral forms can be sent by post or email to SPWSAdmin@cntw.nhs.uk
Referrals From Service Users:
By telephone on 0191 566 5454. This is a dedicated Self-Referral Line which is available Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
