Following completion of my undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) abroad, I have gone on to complete my basic and higher specialist training in Psychiatry, here in the UK.

I am a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and also currently employed as a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in NTW NHS Foundation Trust. I have a compassionate holistic approach in her practice, and currently work as a Community Consultant with the Older Adult Mental Health Team based in Monkwearmouth Hospital, Sunderland. I also provide medical input into the Sunderland Challenging Behavior Team.

I am involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and hold a Master’s Degree in Medical Education from the Durham University, England. I also have an interest in the management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
