Since 1997 I have worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Northumberland Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust based in Sunderland. At present, I work in Urgent Care based on Shoredrift and Longview wards at Hopewood Park, Sunderland.

In addition to my clinical work, I was previously the Clinical Director (Assistant Medical Director) in Sunderland, but gave up this management role a few years ago.
