Recruiting now – North East Children and Young People’s Inpatient Services (CAMHS)

Due to an expansion of our CAMHS inpatient services we are looking for caring, empathetic, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a passion to improve the lives of children and young people who require care in an inpatient setting.

Staff coming into our children and young people’s inpatient services will have excellent opportunity for both personal development and career progression.

We have a range of opportunities across our Newcastle, Northumberland and Teesside children and young people’s inpatient services.

These posts involve supporting children, young people and their families to ensure their emotional, physical, educational and recreational needs are met at a difficult time in their lives.

Whilst having knowledge and experience of children and young people’s mental health and learning disability services is desirable, having the right values and attitudes and the desire to work in a challenging but rewarding environment is essential.

We will provide you with a comprehensive induction period.  You will have access to ongoing clinical supervision and appraisal, as well as a development review that will provide you with support and the specialist skills required to meet the holistic needs of the children and young people in your care.
