I am the trust lead on international nurse recruitment and complete all the shortlisting and allocation. I liaise with clinical teams, managers and services finding out where international nurses are required.
Anne-Marie Lamb, International partnership matron
I lead on the operational and strategic elements along with all the practical components of supporting the relocation of our international doctors and nurses.
Monica DSouza, Clinical nurse educator
I am the Clinical Nurse Educator, I deliver a structured programme to support development and coach nurses to successfully complete the NMC competency test (OSCE). I offer pastoral support and guidance into our nurses new lives in the UK.
Jan Thornton, Senior professional
My role is very flexible, innovative and inventive, it involves – viewing and preparing properties, early communication with our nurses and doctors, meet and greet upon arrival to the UK, pastoral support and ensuring a smooth transition into the Trust.
Kerry Angus, Clinical nurse
I am a clinical nurse and will be supporting all parts of the service from the point of application, interview, and arrival in the UK. Providing pastoral support as well as acclimatising to the new workplace and preparing for OSCE.
Laura Gibbons, Senior Allied Health Professional
As an occupational therapist I support the recruitment, relocation and educational support for the International Allied Health Professionals. I also support with the arrivals, induction, pastoral support and ongoing guidance for all our international doctors and nurses.
Wendy Cole, Pathway coordinator
My role focuses on the practical aspects of relocation including sourcing properties based on individual needs and suitable for the work location, arranging furniture and electrical appliances, shopping for dry goods and groceries to ensure a comfortable start in the UK.
Bonnie Watson, Personal assistant
I am Anne-Marie’s Personal Assistant and I provide admin support to the team.
